Crobos's Revised and never finished guide for hunters2009-04-07 00:00:00I've lost all my old work in the roomservice of thottbots inner workings, so I'll try to reproduce some of that old knowledge
REMEBER: I don't like pvp, so nothing here will be based on the idea of pvp, it's all pve. I also assume you are playing a BM toon, since playing a marksman is like wraping a fire mage in aluminum foil to me
STATS: At lower levels a hunter should be basically looking for agility and stamina,
now at higher levels, when you aren't wearing what just happens to come along cause it's green
Attack power: 2pts per stat slot (2 AP = to 1 base state) Increases base damage of hunter's ranged and melee damage, also increases all adjustable spells (serpents sting and such) plus increases pets dps and spell damage. This is the most important stat in the game for your hunters. But always remember that it takes 2 ap to be equal to one agility
Agility: Raises attak power by 1, armor by 2, dodge and crit by a small percent, best over all gain. For hunters who are leveling, and soloing, this is more important, it creats a more balanced character then pure AP, though lower dps.
Stamina: 1 point = 10 base health, and 3 pet health, always a plus to have a lot of this
Spirit: Raises yo...

Alchemy and Herbalism go well together, as one will feed to materials for the other.
One of the first steps is to assemble the raw materials you will need. The herbs can often be found on the auction house, if y...
